iRemote

Introduction

iRemote was developed by mr.icetea, it is pure java. This application allows you to remote and track screen of multiple PC over LAN.

iRemote is based on client-server architecture and it can act as a client or server.

Getting Started

Server side

when you press button Start, you now is a server.
                                         
If you press it again your server will shutdown. Look at console area, you will see some information about your server like:
  • Server status
  • Server address and port
  • The maximum number of connections your server can support.
  • .....
When a client connect to your server, it will appear on list connections
Right click on an item of list and press View Screen to open Viewer.

Viewer was split into cells, each of them display  screen of client. There are 3 view modes:
  • Single mode
  • Quad mode
  • Nine split mode

You can press button Enable remote to toggle between tracking and remoting.

Client side

Press button Connect to connect to a server. If you want server detect your computer, make sure "Visible to server" is checked, you can find it on Setting panel.
Press button Connect again to disconnect to server. Your client status was displayed at bottom.
Client has 4 statuses:
  • Disconnected
  • Connecting
  • Connected
  • Connect fail
